Granit Xhaka has said that he will remember the goal he scored against Hull City on the weekend forever. The Swiss midfielder thundered in a shot from 35 yards to make the points safe late on.
Well it didn’t take Granit Xhaka long to leave Arsenal fans with open mouths. His goal against Hull City not only secured the three points for The Gunners, it also gave Arsenal another potential contender for Goal of the Season.
The 23-year-old hasn’t exactly been the first choice player this season but he showed a glimpse of his quality on Saturday afternoon. Now Granit Xhaka has taken to Instagram to express his joy at the strike.
“My first goal for Arsenal,” he told his 606,000 followers, “will remain in my memory forever.”
✅A well-deserved victory. Well done guys💪. Very pleased to be part of this victory by giving my committed contribution😄👏 Very proud to be part of arsenal and scoring the first but hopefully not the last goal ⚽with this great team.😄

As Xhaka said, let’s hope it isn’t the last goal he scores for the club.
