The fixtures are coming thick and fast for Arsenal right now in one of the busiest parts of the season. Tonight is a Capital One Cup clash against Reading at the Emirates and Arsene Wenger has given the lowdown on the team news ahead of the match.
The Gunners thrashed Nottingham Forest 4-0 in the last round and many of those players are expected to play again. As well as that team, Arsenal are also expected to welcome back a couple of players who have been out injured for a long time like Olivier Giroud.
“I think Olivier will be included,” Arsene Wenger told Arsenal.com, “but for Aaron it is too early although he is back in full training now.
“It will be a similar squad to against Nottingham Forest. We will have Gabriel, Holding, Jenkinson will be back and will play.

“Jeff Reine-Adelaide will play, otherwise I think Iwobi, Lucas, Oxlade-Chamberlain will also play. Gibbs – who captained the team at Forest – will do it again on Tuesday.”
Wenger has effectively named his side for the clash and it promises to be a good mix of youth and experience. The returns of Carl Jenkinson and Olivier Giroud will be particularly pleasing to Arsenal fans who will be hoping for success in a competition Arsene Wenger has never actually won.
