Arsenal came back from two goals down to sink Ludogorets 3-2, with Mesut Ozil showcasing his exquisite composure in front of goal with a wonderful winner.
The Gunners found themselves behind by two after just 16 minutes with the November curse potentially rearing its ugly head. However a Granit Xhaka finish followed by Olivier Giroud’s towering header levelled the playing field.
Arsene Wenger’s men looked to be sharing the spoils despite their heroic comeback, and were even lucky to be drawing after the home side missed some decent chances. However Ozil’s pure genius secured the win with a sensational finish.
A beautiful ball over the top from Mohamed Elneny saw Ozil break clear, however with the ‘keeper onrushing and defenders not far behind the job was far from finished. The German lobbed the ball delicately over the goalkeeper and then sold both defenders with a dummy and scored sublimely. What a goal!
