Arsenal have been given a huge boost ahead of their clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford on November 19 with the news that striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss the game due to suspension.
The forward picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in Sunday’s 3-1 win over Swansea City earning him an automatic one-match suspension.
After coming in for criticism recently, Ibrahimovic did look to have returned to form in the clash at the Liberty Stadium, scoring twice as Jose Mourinho’s picked up all three points.
Ibrahimovic will be a big miss for the Red Devils, he is the club’s top scorer with eight goals in all competitions, four ahead of Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford.
The former Sweden international has also apologised to his team-mates for missing the game against the Gunners on 19 November.
“You know what?” he told MUTV. “Every time I try to play my game by being strong, and going into the tackles, or whatever it is, I get a yellow card. I don’t know what the explanation was because I think I was too tired and I didn’t hear him [the referee].

“It is what it is. In England, the football is hard, it’s physical. I just have to accept it. I’ve got to be professional. I’m sorry I am suspended for the next game.
“I wish I wasn’t as it’s a game I really wanted to play in. But I have trust in my team-mates and the team and I know they can do fine also without me.”
Arsenal go into the game after the international break, still unbeaten since the opening day and already six points ahead of a misfiring Manchester United in the Premier League table.
