Alexis Sanchez has handed Arsenal a major injury boost as he returns to training with Chile after missing out on their match against Columbia.
The Arsenal star picked up a minor tear in his hamstring which forced him out of his national side’s match on Thursday.
However, now Chile’s official website has reported the 27-year-old is training at the side’s training camp ahead of their clash against Uruguay on Tuesday.
This means Chile boss Juan Antonio Pizzi is preparing to play him in their upcoming tie despite Arsene Wenger’s advice to rest him.
While it is a relief to see Sanchez fit enough to feature for Chile, there still remains the possibility that he will not be fit enough to partake in the match.
It is therefore hoped the Chilean isn’t risking his fitness, and returns to the Emirates unscathed and available for the upcoming massive tie against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
