Ian Wright has named his ultimate five-a-side team and there’s a few surprises with no room for any current stars or legends such as Thierry Henry and Robert Pires.
The striker has also left himself out of his line-up but starts off with David Seaman in goal and Tony Adams as his sole defender.
“Firstly obviously I’ve got to have David Seaman in goal because he’s the best,” he told Arsenal Player.
“When we used to play five-a-side against him. You are not going to score against him in a five-a-side goal. It’s very hard enough in a normal sized goal. He just fills it up.
“Very surprisingly people don’t realise how good a five-a-side player Tony Adams was. I used to just hang, goal hang, Tony Adams would be up, down, play everywhere, score loads of goals in five-a-side and obviously be the captain as well. But he’s a very, very good five-a-side player.”
Moving forwards and Wright opts for Patrick Vierira and Dennis Bergkamp, who he feels is the club’s greatest ever signing.

“Patrick Vieira – he’s silky, he’s smooth, he can tackle, he can get forward he can get back, he can score goals. He’s just silky smooth,” he added.
“Dennis Bergkamp – When people ask me the best player I’ve ever played with it’s Dennis Bergkamp.
“I’ve been privileged to play with a player like him. He was literally a football machine. Everything he did was pristine. The quality of the man and the quick thinking of his brain. He was the greatest signing Arsenal made and will ever make.”
But up front is the biggest shock with Wright suprsingly not going for Henry or in fact any Arsenal striker, with Alan Shearer getting the nod instead.
“And up front I’m going to probably have. Alan Shearer. I think Alan Shearer is the best No. 9 that we’ve ever produced in this country,” he said.
“I think his Premier League goal scoring record proves that. He’s had massive knee injuries and still ended up 100odd goals ahead of everyone else. For me he’s the best No. 9 the Premier League has ever seen.”
