Paris Saint-Germain have emerged as hot favourites to sign Julian Draxler when the transfer window reopens in January.
Draxler seems destined to leave Wolfsburg this winter after being booed by his own fans recently, dropped from the squad and with the club finally admitting they will consider offers.
Arsenal continue to be linked with the Germany international and recent reports have claimed they are ready to bid £30m for his services.
However, PSG appear to have leapt to the front of the queue according to Le Parisien, who report that director of football Patrick Kluivert is keen on bringing the 23-year-old to France.
The club believe he could be available for as little as £25m after a difficult start to the season with Wolfsburg, and have been in constant contact with the Bundesliga side since the summer.
PSG have been searching for an extra attacking edge since losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Manchester City and feel Draxler would provide Edinson Cavani with extra support.

His arrival is also likely to see Jese, recently arrived from Real Madrid but struggling to make an impact, potentially leave the club.
Draxler is also available to play in the Champions League and while Arsenal and Juventus are still reportedly interested, they have fallen behind PSG in the race for his signature.
PSG’s interest in Draxler is little surprise and with speculation over his future increasing and the player currently believed to be training alone a winter exit seems inevitable.
The French champions are struggling in Ligue 1, four points behind leaders Nice having lost three times already and certainly seem in greater need of a big signing in January than Arsenal.
The Gunners have plenty of options in attack currently with strikers Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud and Lucas Perez and with Danny Welbeck set to return shortly. The form of Theo Walcott, Alex Iwobi and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and also Mesut Ozil also mean that while there is no doubting Draxler’s quality, there is still a question over where he would fit into the team.
