Arsenal take on West Brom at the Emirates on Boxing Day hoping for some festive cheer after successive defeats to Everton and Manchester City.
The Gunners have fallen nine points off leaders Chelsea on the back of the two disappointing results but have reason to be cheerful ahead of the Boxing Day clash.
Tony Pulis’s side may be flying high in eighth place but they possess a terrible record in the Premier League on the 26th December, having managed just one win 11 games.
That victory came back in 2012 against QPR but is the only time the Baggies have tasted victory in the Premier League on Boxing Day.
West Brom have also suffered some awful post-Christmas results having been beaten 3-0 by Manchester United in 2005, 5-0 by Liverpool in 2004 while the last times the two sides met on Boxing Day, Arsenal emerged as 2-1 victors in 2002.
