Arsenal have been drawn away against Southampton or Norwich in the fourth round of the FA Cup drew which took place on Monday.
The Gunners booked their spot in the next round of the competition with a 2-1 win over Preston at Deepdale on Saturday.
Simon Grayson’s side took the lead but the Gunners hit back through Aaron Ramsey before Olivier Giroud popped up with a late winner to break Preston hearts.
Southampton and Norwich must replay after a 2-2 draw at Carrow Road on Saturday. The Saints had looked to be going through after goals from Virgil van Dijk and Maya Yoshida had given them a 2-1 lead before Steven Naismith’s stoppage time equaliser kept the Canaries in the competition.
The play will take place at St Mary’s Stadium on Wednesday 18 January with the winner set to host Arsenal in the next round.
