Arsenal have confirmed they have signed Cohen Bramall from Hednesford Town with the youngster becoming the club’s first transfer of the January window.
The 20-year-old will now join up with the club’s Under-23 squad after impressing Arsene Wenger during a recent trial.
Bramall has recently been described as having “lightning” pace by his former manager, and Wenger has described why he opted to buy the full-back.
“[Bramall] is a young, promising left back who has a lack of experience at the top level but who has fantastic ingredients,” he said via the official Arsenal website.
“He has tremendous pace, a good left foot, a great desire to do well. Overall, he’s a very exciting prospect.”

Bramall heads to the Premier League from Hednesford Town and Wenger says non-league football can provide a great platform for success.
“I believe that when you go down, there’s mental selection,” he added “It’s a mental test – do you love football enough?
“Are you ready enough to fight [to show] that you are above this level and that you absolutely want to come back?
“Players like Giroud and Koscielny have had that test. They are similar to that. Once they get up, they really mean it.”
Arsenal will now be hoping that Bramall can make the grade at the Gunners after having been plucked from obscurity and propelled into the Premier League.
