Arsenal striker Lucas Perez is not happy at the Emirates and “wants to leave at all costs”, according to his agent Rodrigo Fernandez Llovelle .
The 28-year-old only arrived in the summer from Deportivo La Coruna but has managed just two starts in the Premier League for the Gunners this season.
Although he has managed six goals in all competitions, he has struggled to force his way into Arsene Wenger’s plans and looks to have become frustrated with his bit-part role.
His agent says he will definitely leave in the summer, with Perez believed to be hopeful of making Spain’s World Cup 2018 squad and keen for regular football to boost his chances.
“He hasn’t received any offer yet,” he told calciomercato.com.
“If Lucas leaves London – and he will leave because he’s had no chance with [Arsene] Wenger – he wants to go and play for a big club like Arsenal.”
Perez’s agent has also talked up a move to AC Milan and insists the striker’s future does not depend on whether Arsene Wenger stays or not.
“Milan is a great club and he likes them very much, even if we’ve never talked with the Rossoneri hierarchy,” he added.
“Look, the truth is that Lucas wants to leave at all costs and is not happy at Arsenal, he hasn’t settled and hasn’t had a chance to play and show what he can do.
“No matter who is the manager in the future, we want to go. The player must have the chance to play.”
While Arsenal have not struggled for goals this season and have plenty of options in attack, it would still be a blow to see Perez leave, as he has impressed on the rare chances he has been given in the first-team.
