Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe admits he would love to keep on loan midfielder Jack Wilshere at the club.
The England international has enjoyed a successful spell at the Vitality Stadium proving both form and fitness on a consistent basis.
Arsene Wenger insisted yesterday the club have not discussed his future with Bournemouth after speculation the Cherries were looking to land Wilshere permanently arose.
Wilshere himself has insisted he will not think about his future until the end of the season but concedes he wants regular football.
The 25-year-old is out of contract at the end of next season and Howe admits that while he would love to keep him at the club they have not approached Arsenal as yet.
“We’d love Jack Wilshere to stay. I can’t rate Jack enough as a footballer, as a person and how he has come into the team and delivered for us. But there’s been no discussion with Arsenal,” he said via Standard Sport.

“As I see it Jack’s on loan for the season then we’ll look at it and Jack will look at it from that point.”
Recent injuries to Aaron Ramsey, Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin mean that Wilshere has indeed been missed at the Emirates this season with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain forced into central midfield in recent weeks.
Although Wilshere is widely expected to remain in north London, when everyone is fit and available it is not definite if he would be a regular starter which could indeed affect his thinking for next season.
