Arsenal have a chance to effectively end Tottenham’s chances of winning the Premier League title on Sunday in case the players needed another factor of motivation.
They shouldn’t because it’s the North London Derby and Arsene Wenger has given his team news ahead of the clash.
“The uncertainty we have at the moment is about Laurent Koscielny,” Wenger revealed. “The news yesterday was quite positive so I hope he has a chance of being available.
“[The chances are] 60/40 – 60 that he plays.”

It would be a blow to lose Laurent Koscielny. He’s the standin captain and the most consistent player in the centre of Arsenal’s defence. The Frenchman has done well in the back three for the last couple of matches and Wenger confirmed that his team could still use the system even if Koscielny misses out.
Another defender who Arsenal are missing right now is Shkodran Mustafi. Wenger confiemd that he will be out for another two weeks before discussing Alex Oxalde-Chamberlain’s chances of playing.
“He will be fit enough to start because it was more precautionary to leave him on the bench [against Leicester].
“I didn’t want to take the gamble with him.”
So, it seems that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will feature for the Gunners but question marks still remain over Laurent Koscielny. However, the Frenchman seems like the sort of player who would be willing to play with a slight injury, especially in a match as big as this.
