Arsenal club legend Ian Wright has urged the Gunners to sell Theo Walcott if rumours of a £30 million bid from Everton are correct (via the Daily Mirror).
He’s a player who hasn’t really been linked with a move away from the Emirates so far this summer but that could be about to change.
Theo Walcott has barely played for the Gunners since the shift to a 3-4-2-1 formation and it seems that the Englishman is now attracting the attention of rival Premier League sides.
This summer’s big spenders, Everton were rumoured to be interested in a £30 million move for the Englishman.
Now, Arsenal legend Ian Wright has taken to Twitter to respond to the claims.
“Sad to see the amount of disrespect that Theo gets from the fans,” he tweeted. “I’ll always love him, but if it is a 30 million bid, got to take it.”

Walcott reached ten Premier League goals last season for the first time in four years. However, the 28-year-old found himself out of the starting lineup more and more as time went on.
He’s hardly been in the form of his career in the past few months. Walcott doesn’t seem to fit into this new formation and his performances have been poor on the few occasions he has got into the team. He seems to have grown comfortable at Arsenal and after over 11 years at the Emirates, maybe now is the best time to move on.
