He’s a player who has attracted much sympathy from Arsenal fans from his relative lack of playing time and it looks like Lucas Perez has played his last game for the Gunners.
The forward arrived in North London from Deportivo in August last year but has made just 11 Premier League appearances for the club.
Perez was one of the top scorers in Spain last season and found some form for the Gunners in cup competitions, grabbing six goals in ten matches outside the league.
However, Perez wasn’t given much time on the pitch by Arsene Wenger, especially in the Premier League and now it looks as if his time at the Emirates is up.
Spanish publication Sport claims that the Gunners will be content to see the forward leave this summer window with a return to Liga BBVA most likely.

Espanyol are reportedly interested in signing the 28-year-old with a €15 million fee said to be enough for the Gunners to sell.
As always, we will have to wait and see what will happen. There’s no doubt that Lucas Perez wasn’t given his fair share of playing time last season and it’s a shame to see him close to a move away. However, with Alexandre Lacazette reportedly close to joining the Gunners, his playing time would be even more limited going forward.
