Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim has given Arsenal hope as they continue to chase striker Kylian Mbappe.
Reports today have claimed the Gunners are preparing a huge £125 million bid for the teenager, in the hope of beating Real Madrid to his signature.
Jardim admits that while he wants to keep hold of Mbappe, he may not be able to, in the face of huge speculation over his future.
“I have not spoken to him,” he told BFM TV. “But we hope he stays with us.
“I believe he and the club will make the best decision.
“Every manager in the world wants to keep his best players, but it’s not always possible.

“Right now, it’s important to think 100 per cent about work, help young players grow and then see type of player he can become.”
Mbappe has sparked further speculation over his future by updating his Twitter and Instagram bios, and removing all mention of Monaco – make of that what you will.
Jardim’s words, meanwhile, certainly sound as if he is becoming resigned to losing the teenager, although he could still opt to remain in France, despite all the interest in his services.
