Arsene Wenger says he is “100%” sure Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will remain at Arsenal, despite speculation surrounding his future.
The England international is into the last year of his current deal and is yet to sign an extension, prompting rumours he could leave this summer.
Wenger has previously made it clear he wants the Ox to stay at the club “for the next 10 years”, insisting he is the future.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for the 23-year-old but Wenger says he is going nowhere.
“Yes. 100 per cent, I expect him to stay,” he told Sky Sports when asked if the club would keep hold of him.
“No matter the speculation, he will stay.”

Wenger also spoke about the future of Olivier Giroud, with reports today claiming Borussia Dortmund have opened talks with the French international.
“There is a lot of speculation,” he added.
“I have many times said that I have a huge respect for Olivier Giroud, for the man he is and the way he loves our club.
“Even with all the speculation he is focused and does his job. I always said (that I expect him to stay), I was always consistent with that.”
While Wenger may want to keep hold of both players, the squad certainly needs trimming, particularly if Arsenal are to bring in further new signings this summer.
