Arsenal have revealed which shirt number new signing Alexandre Lacazette will wear next season as the striker prepares to make his debut for the club.
The striker will wear the No.9 shirt next season, taking the number previously worn by Lucas Perez who will switch to No.28.
Lacazette previously wore the No.10 shirt at Lyon, which still belongs to Jack Wilshere at the moment, but will now switch to No. 9.

The No.9 shirt has something of a reputation at Arsenal having been worn by Lukas Podolski, Park Chu-Young, Eduardo, Jose Antonio Reyes and Francis Jeffers in recent years.
Lacazette will make his debut during the club’s pre-season tour of Australia as Arsenal kick off with a game against Sydney FC.

“Lacazette will make his debut here, yes,” said Wenger at a press conference.
“On Thursday night he will certainly play a part in the game and in the other game as well. In the two games he will take part.
“We play football based on movement, technical qualities and mobility, and I believe that both of the new signings can integrate well into the team.
“One is a defender who can play on the flank and centrally, and one is a striker with a very good goalscoring record, so I believe that they are great additions to the team. It’s a good opportunity as well to have a first look at how well and how quickly they will integrate with the way we want to play.”
