Reports indicate that Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil wants to snub the club’s potential new contract offer and join Manchester United (via The Mirror)
It’s a story which will be grim reading for Arsenal fans if there is any truth in it whatsoever but reports indicate that Mesut Ozil will refuse to sign a new deal at the club.
The German’s contract expires at the end of the season and much like Alexis Sanchez, he has thus far failed to agree to a new deal.
Now, reports suggest that Ozil will snub any offer from Arsenal and try to force a move to Premier League rivals, Manchester United.
Ozil joined the Gunners from Real Madrid back in 2013 and a move to United will see him link up with former boss, Jose Mourinho.

Ozil is in his fifth season at the club and has made 164 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 32 goals. He is currently recovering from a small injury but could feature for Arsenal against West Bromwich Albion on Monday night.
It remains to be seen whether there is any truth in this rumour but it’s a complicated situation for Arsenal fans. Mesut Ozil hasn’t exactly set the Premier League alight, especially of late but to lose him on a free transfer to a Premier League rival would be poor business.
