The ‘Wenger Out’ section of the Arsenal fan base has a new protest and a new banner planned for the match with AFC Bournemouth on Saturday (via The Standard).
Even the most ardent Arsene Wenger supporter will agree that the club isn’t in the best place at the moment.
A 1-0 loss to Stoke City was followed up by a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Liverpool. The club’s key players all look likely to leave and there are no more signs of any incomings.
Many supporters have had enough and plan yet another Wenger Out protest at the Emirates for the AFC Bournemouth match this weekend.
“This is not a knee-jerk response to results. We always expected we would have to protest again. We have been planning for it,” said one member of the protest group.

“He is going to leave in ignominy eventually. We don’t think Stan Kroenke will listen to us, so we’ll protest to get us an owner who will.”
The fans have always made up a new banner which will they unveil during the match reading: ‘Arsene: it’s not the fans; it’s not the press; it’s not the players; it’s you.’
It’s doubtful whether these protests will have any effect on the goings on in the Arsenal boardroom. Wenger has a huge contract for another two seasons and it’s very likely that the club will rescind it just months after it was agreed and signed. These protests will only distract the club from what’s important: what happens on the pitch.
