Arsenal have drawn Sheffield Wednesday in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup, with a trip to Hillsborough the reward for seeing off our North London rivals this past Wednesday night, as reported by the BBC.
We had a tricky opening fixture in the competition, with a trip to White Hart Lane sandwiched between a number of other difficult fixtures. Mathieu Flamini’s brace helped us overcome Mauricio Pochettino’s side though, and we’ve now been handed an extremely favourable fourth round draw.
We’ve got arguably the easiest draw of the round, although a trip to a lower league team can never be taken for granted. We’ll be playing on a lower quality pitch, and there have been far too many giant killings in recent history to count.
Hopefully the players won’t get complacent, and our clash with Sheffield Wednesday turns out to be as simple as it looks on paper.

It doesn’t look like any of our major competitors will struggle too much, with Chelsea’s away trip to Stoke arguably the hardest draw. Manchester City play host to Crystal Palace, while Manchester United will get a visit from Championship side Middlesbrough.
