Arsenal have been given a huge boost in the race to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with the striker admitting he is considering leaving Borussia Dortmund.
The Gunners are believed to have made huge bids for the Gabon international in the past and could reignite their interest this summer.
Chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke has recently admitted they would have to consider offers €80 million (£68.5m) for their star striker and he says it could be the right time to quit the club.
“This is the question I am asking myself right now. It is a particular moment. I am fully considering a move away in the summer,” he told RMC.
“Obviously, I feel very good here because of the magnificent fans. It is a big club. However, I am asking myself this question — If I want to take the next step, should I not leave?
“I do not have the answer. It will take a little time. I am 27 years old. If I want to do something in order to progress, then I will do it this summer. Is it worth it or not?

“I need to see what options there are. If I will be able to play. Obviously if I do not move, it means I will end my career here. I will take some time to reflect.”
Aubameyang ruled out a move to China and also appeared to dampen speculation of a move to Real Madrid, although he did admit he prefers La Liga to the Premier League.
“Going there [to China] is not an objective of mine. Especially now. I am completely excluding this for the moment,” he added.
“A lot of people would like to see me in England. This is not necessarily the league that attracts me the most though. It would allow me to develop further though. I really like the Spanish league and find it attractive.
“Forget Real [Madrid]. There has been too much talk surrounding that. There is more to life than just Real, even if it does remain a dream of mine.”
