New Arsenal signing Cohen Bramall has revealed the three left-backs he admires most in world football after joining the club from non-league Hednesford Town.
The 20-year-old becomes the Gunners’ first signing of the January window and will join up with the Under-23 squad after making the move to the Premier League.
Bramall has been asked about which current left-backs he watches and admires most at the moment and admits one of his new team-mates is an inspiration.
“Marcelo, Kieran Gibbs, David Alaba,” he said via the official Arsenal website. “They bomb forward, and that’s my key – my speed is the key to overlapping, trying to put the ball into the box and trying to get an assist. That’s what I do.”
The youngster has also revealed that he has been a big admirer of Arsenal, particularly because of their attractive style of football.
“I followed them [Arsenal] a lot, I liked the football,” he added. “They play the best football in the Premier League, no doubt – there’s no doubt about it. I love watching that.

“You know that goal with Wilshere and Giroud [against Norwich]? I love that goal, I always watch it. I tend to learn my role more than watch [games]. It sounds weird but I tend to learn the left-back role by looking at top players rather than watching full games.”
Bramall also admits that Thierry Henry is one of his favourite Arsenal players and still seems in some a state of disbelief at his shock move to the Gunners.
“Thierry Henry, there’s no doubt. He was a top, top player. Straight away I’ll say Thierry Henry,” he explained.
“He was strong, fast. I liked the cockiness about him, the way he put himself about on the pitch. He was a top player and again it’s mad that I’m here because he’s been here… it’s just crazy.”
Bramall certainly appears to have all the attribute to fit in nicely at Arsenal and there are high hopes for him as he prepares for life in the top flight.
