Lille star and Gunners target Eden Hazard has spoken out on his future and suggests he could crush Gooner’s hopes of acquiring one of Europes hottest talents by heading to rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
He once again has reiterated that England is a likely destination for the Belgian winger who has been heavily linked with Arsenal, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City. He also mentioned in past interviews that he was eager to move somewhere where he would get regular game time, consequently placing doubt over a transfer to Spain or City and Chelsea who have an abundance of attacking options.
Reports in France are claiming that the Belgian international may already have agreed personal terms with Spurs with just the transfer fee to be settled with Lille wanting at least €40 million for their prized asset, but Hazard has admitted that there is no such contract in place yet, but something will eventuate soon.
He told RTBF:
Maybe it will be Tottenham. This is a big English club. I said I will go to England and there are very good players [at the club].
I have not signed anything yet. It will happen soon. Spain is perhaps more my style of play but it must be either Barcelona or Real Madrid. It is therefore limited.
This will be a big blow after Wenger last week admitted his admiration for the Belgian winger, who is rumoured to be the cousin of Arsenal’s Thomas Veramelen. He is a sensational talent and is someone that the Gunners need to add more established flare who can become a long-term asset for the club.

Wenger and his scouting team will need to make a move soon or it will be too late, and it will certainly be a kick in the teeth if Spurs manage to swoop him up. But personally I don’t see how our rivals will be able to afford his huge transfer fee, but then again can Arsenal…?
