Arsenal starlet Jack Wilshere could be sidelined for three crucial matches, with the Gunners already battling to cope with a shortage of players due to injuries, suspensions and key player’s Fabregas sold and Nasri apparently having a medical at City.
With the Gunners facing a tough two weeks ahead with fixtures against Liverpool and Manchester United in the Premier League and away to Udinese in the Champions League play-offs, things are not looking up for the North London side.
Both Gervinho and Alex Song start their three-match Premier League bans and Samir Nasri set to join Cesc Fabregas in heading out of the Emirates, Arsene Wenger has also been hit with injuries to key positions, with Wilshere, who left the Emirates after the 1-nil defeat of Udinese on Tuesday night, with a protective boot on the ankle injury that kept him out of the season opener against Newcastle.
The Daily Express reports that the 19-year-old will definitely miss this weekends key clash with Liverpool and the 2nd leg of the Champions league qualifier against Udinese. While he is rated only at 50-50 to recover in time for the trip to Old Trafford on August 28.
