Mangane has watched M’Vila, 21, come through the ranks into the first team and has been impressed with the Frenchman’s development and has tipped him for big things. Mangane told Goal.com of M’Vila’s future:
There has been no decision taken so far. He might go to England but he also likes the Spanish league. I don’t think he will leave in January but I think he will join Real Madrid or Arsenal next summer.
The top clubs are right to scout him as I see him with a big career in front of him. Yann has the potential to be one of the biggest players in the world. He has extraordinary abilities.
You can see he is a fantastic player from what he does in training. Yann is good enough to play anywhere in the world. He is a complete player. He has a good eye for the game, he is technically excellent and he is also very good at defending and regaining balls.
As much as I love the thought of a world-class talent such as M’Vila joining Arsenal, I hardly see it happening with Song such a strong player already, and with Frimpong and Coquelin waiting in the wings with Wilshere available in January/February it seems highly unlikely that Wenger will make a move for the highly rated French international.
The only possible way that I see Wenger purchasing M’Vila is if Song doesn’t renew his contract next summer and he is sold, or if M’Vila becomes Arsenal’s Yaya Toure and plays higher up the pitch. Song, M’Vila and Wilshere/Ramsey sounds like a pretty amazing midfield to me… What are your thoughts? Comment below.
