Arsenal have reportedly named AC Milan striker Andre Silva as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez should the Chilean leave in the summer (via The Mirror).
As Arsenal plan for life after Arsene Wenger, it seems that they also need to make a blueprint for the team after Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
Both players are out of contract in the summer and while the Gunners are apparently eager to sell Mesut Ozil, they are naturally less keen to sell Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean has been the most important player at the club for some time but has long been linked with a move away from the Emirates.
Manchester City came close to sealing the Chilean’s signature in the summer and it seems that Arsenal are planning for the eventually that a deal could go through in the coming months.

The Gunners have reportedly targeted AC Milan striker Andre Silva as a potential replacement for the Chilean.
The Portuguese forward only moved to the San Siro in the summer but after a defeat to their Milan neighbours at the weekend, Vincenzo Montella’s side are in a bad way.
Andre Silva is a quality striker but wouldn’t exactly represent a good replacement for Alexis Sanchez. They’re very different players and with Alexandre Lacazette and Olivier Giroud at the club, a new striker isn’t exactly what’s needed. A signing like Julian Draxler would be far more suitable.
