Arsenal forward Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain believes that the spirit in the camp at the club gives us the advantage ahead of our rivals as we look to mount a serious title challenge, The Telegraph reports.
Very rarely, especially over the past decade, have we entered a new campaign with such optimism and Oxlade-Chamberlain shares a similar feeling with the fans.
After his sensational winner in the Community Shield last weekend, the 21-year-old is entering the season as our in-form player and we’re certainly excited to see what he can produce this season.
For ‘The Ox’, however, it’s all about the team.

“I do think that with this squad now we’ve been together for a number of years and everyone has bought into it,” Oxlade-Chamberlain told The Telegraph.

“For me, it’s a surprise when you speak to lads at other clubs and you find out there are certain cliques within their dressing room. It surprises me because at Arsenal it’s not like that at all and it’s never been like that.”
The former Saints academy star’s observations are not baseless and a quick glance at the behind the scenes footage released by the club shows a tremendous harmony within the group.
While players will often gravitate towards players who are from a similar background, that is usually during their first few months at the club.
Evidence of that are the two players handed the ‘Bromance of the Year’ award by the players – Mathieu Flamini and Mesut Ozil (via the Mirror).
Hopefully, we can see this spirit remain intact all the way until May.
