The Gunners are yet to spend a penny this summer, and have released/sold an incredible 24 players, admittedly 7 of these players featured for Arsenal’s first team last season. But the likes of Gervinho, Santos Chamakh and Arshavin were regulars in the first team squad prior to their respective loan spells or departures.
With four days left in the transfer window, and with it Wenger’s ONLY chance to bolster his squad until January, we’ve investigated the progress so far. And it’s disturbing.
We are currently creating a new infographic detailing the transfer in’s and out’s since the end of the 2004/05 season (the last time we won a trophy!) So as a taster here is this summer’s Arsenal transfer activity. We will let the table talk for us.
