Bordeaux manager, Jocelyn Gourvennec has admitted that he is making plans for the possibility of losing Arsenal target, Malcom (via GFFN).

The Gunners have already been strongly linked with a move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the replacement for Sanchez and it seems that they have identified the 20-year-old Brazilian, Malcom as the successor to Theo Walcott.

“I cannot see Malcom leaving us,” said the player’s manager, Jocelyn Gourvennec recently. However, the Ligue 1 boss has certainly changed his tune and today admitted that he is planning for life after the winger.
“With Malcom I am taking it day by day,” he said. “If he leaves, he will be replaced.”
That’s a big turnaround in a short space of time which means that something must have happened behind the scenes. Reports from Brazil claim that the player’s agents have gone to Europe to try and complete a deal which could be finalised in the coming days.
