Cardiff v Arsenal
Barclays Premier League
Cardiff City Stadium
Kick off: November 30, 2013 3:00 PM BST
An Arsenal side who were at times today, unplayable. Under pressure on occasions from Cardiff but the Gunners showed their quality and came out comfortable 3-0 winners. Here are the player ratings:
Wojciech Szczesny | 8.0: Szczesny is in fantastic form at the moment. He again had practically nothing to do in the early stages, but made one or two fantastic saves and reacted quickly, was decisive and commanding when we went through a tough period of the game.

Bacary Sagna | 7.0: A decent performance, but Cardiff were creating chances down the flanks. Kim was a handful for Bac in the first half.
Laurent Koscielny | 7.75: There were a couple of defensive mix ups which look like they could have been punished, but was very solid for the most part and mopped up when mistakes were made.
Per Mertesacker | 7.5: Made a couple of uncharacteristic misjudgements in the first half, and required lengthy treatment after colliding with Sagna early on. But was excellent defensively in the second half, commanding and dominant in our area.
Kieran Gibbs | 7.25: Continued his recent form, playing well both defending and going forward. Was almost at fault for a Cardiff goal, not jumping or even challenging for a header. Szczesny saving him from embarrassment with a superb save though.
Mikel Arteta | 8.0: Arteta continues to amaze with his fantastic understated performances, he dominated the midfield at times and was a pillar of composure when other players seemed to be panicking a bit during Cardiff’s spells of pressure.
Aaron Ramesy | 8.5: (MotM) Another great performance from Aaron, scoring twice against his old club. His headed goal was one of a proper target man that you would expect to see from the likes of Giroud. His second really putting the game to bed.
Özil | 8.25: He’s had some critics for some of his recent performances, and he certainly answered some of them today. Two assists and some unbelievable passing statistics throughout the game. A fantastic game from the £42 million German signing.
Santi Cazorla | 6.75: Seemed a bit lost at times, unsure of where he wanted to go, or what he wanted to do with the ball. Perhaps he is still finding his role in the team with Özil now in the squad.
Jack Wilshere | 7.75: Had a great first half, almost scoring after just a minute. Was a lot quieter in the second half, still showing patches of brilliance though.
Olivier Giroud | 7.0: More good hold up play by the Frenchman today, but it certainly wasn’t his best game. Made the wrong decision a few times, and stopped for offside when he was one on one with the keeper, despite the whistle not going and the flag not being raised.
Mathieu Flamini | 7.5: Despite coming on very late, there was still time for Flamini to latch onto an Özil through ball and smash in his first goal since his return to Arsenal. It was a vital one too, which really settled the game down for Arsenal.
Nacho Monreal | 6.5: Wasn’t on for long enough to make a huge impact, got forward well a few times but showed poor decision making.
Theo Walcott | 7.5: His pace as ever is a devastating weapon, especially when the opponents are chasing the game. He unselfishly squared the ball to Ramsey instead of shooting himself. A good assist and a good impact despite only being on the pitch for a few minutes.
