Reports in Spain suggest that Arsenal have made a big-money offer for Real Madrid forward, Karim Benzema (via Sport Witness).
Of the hundreds of players who Arsenal get linked with signing in the transfer market, there is a small group who seem to be on the back pages every year.
From the likes of Saloman Kalou to Yoann Gourcuff, the list is pretty well known amongst Arsenal fans.
Well, one name on that list has just been linked with a move to the Emirates yet again but this rumour is far from likely.
Spanish publication Don Balon has reported that Arsenal have made a €40 million offer for Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema.
It’s no secret that there is to be a rumoured overhaul of Madrid’s squad in the summer and it seems that there are bidding wars for several players.

Arsene Wenger has been a fan of Benzema’s for some time, long before he moved to Spain and has been linked with the player for years.
Of all the times Karim Benzema has been linked with a move to Arsenal, now seems the least likely. After six years of waiting for a top striker, Arsenal now have two to choose from so to add another one to the mix would be slightly ridiculous.
