Gonzalo Higuain believes he would be a good fit with Arsenal as the striker nears an exit from Real Madrid.
The Argentine will depart the Santiago Bernabéu this summer after admitting his time is up with the La Liga giants, and he has fueled speculation linking him with move to North London by claiming Arsenal would suit him and he can offer plenty of goals.
Arsene Wenger is on the hunt for a new frontman to compete with Olivier Giroud, and Higuain tops many Gooner’s wish lists for the summer so the news is certainly pricked the ears of many Arsenal fans.
The likes of Liverpool and Tottenham are also interested in the 25-year-old’s services, however the Gunners may well be the front runners after his latest comments.
Widespread reports have suggested Higuain said:
There have already been offers and I hope that Madrid do the best for me and themselves,’ said Higuain.

Arsenal? They would suit me, I’m still young and I have goals.
There are many possibilities. I want to go to a league where I’ll be put to the test.
Sign him up Wenger! The transfer does not open until July 1st, however the Gunners must make a move quickly and tempt him to come to the Emirates. This is exactly the kind of signing we need, someone who has proven his worth at the highest level and still has his best years ahead.
Thoughts Gooners?
