Arsenal’s latest arrival Ismael Bennacer has been pictured penning his contract at London Colney after reports emerged on Wednesday that we had pipped Manchester City to his signature (via the Metro).
With the initial reports emanating from L’Equipe, the French outlet claimed that Bennacer had already agreed a five-year deal (via the Express) and the image below shows the youngster putting pen to paper on his contract.
Described as a creative midfielder, as per the Metro, Arsene Wenger has seemingly regained his touch of finding the latest talent from his home nation.
Bennacer, 17, joins Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Yasin Fortune as the latest arrivals from France and we’ve already seen what Adelaide is capable of.
Bennacer will likely join up with the U-21 squad and should he impress, hopefully, the boss will include him in this season’s Capital One Cup.
