Injuries are playing havoc at Arsenal once again, and a number of key players are set to miss our clash with Sunderland this weekend. Arsene Wenger will need to do some reshaping, but hopefully we still have the depth to get the win over a resurgent looking Sunderland side.
Here’s how we think Arsenal will line up against Sunderland:
GK) Petr Cech
One of the few players we can really count on at the moment, but hopefully we won’t be calling on him too often against the Black Cats.
RB) Hector Bellerin
The Spaniard hasn’t been at his best in recent weeks, but inconsistency is to be expected with players of his age. He’s still far and away the best option we have at right-back.

LB) Nacho Monreal
Another of our more reliable stars, but he needs to improve his end product. We’ve seen far too many opportunities wasted due to our full-backs pumping poor crosses into the box.
CB) Per Mertesacker
With Laurent Koscielny suffering a hip injury against Norwich (via Arsenal.com), there are question marks over his fitness ahead of this weekend.
CB) Laurent Koscielny
Gabriel Paulista may get the nod if the Frenchman isn’t fully fit, but if Koscielny has recovered then you’d expect him to start ahead of the Brazilian.
