It’s time to put the disappointment of Tuesday night’s loss against Barcelona behind us and focus on our Premier League clash with Manchester United this weekend. We’re still third in the English top flight, and we need to take maximum points over the next few games if we are to have any hope of moving up the table.
We should see a fairly similar team to the one that started against the Catalan giants, with the exception of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Here’s how we think Arsenal will line up against Manchester United:
GK) Petr Cech
No questions here, the Czech international has to start in goal. He’s been a phenomenal signing, and these big games are where we really need him to shine.
RB) Hector Bellerin

Bellerin was superb against Barcelona, keeping Neymar quiet for large parts of the game. Calum Chambers is our only other real option, and Arsene Wenger seems likely to stick with the Spaniard.
LB) Nacho Monreal
Monreal has once again shown that he’s one of our most reliable defenders, with his consistent performances proving hugely important.
CB) Per Mertesacker
Gabriel Paulista is available once again (via the Metro), but with the Brazilian only just recovering from injury it seems likely that Mertesacker will continue at the back.
CB) Laurent Koscielny
He should be joined by Laurent Koscielny, who is unquestionably one of the best centre-backs in the league at the moment.
