The Gunners are set to welcome back Mathieu Flamini to the squad after serving his one match suspension at the weekend, but whether he will be integrated immediately is still up for debate.
Mikel Arteta appears to be fit despite his knock at the weekend, with Wenger revealing there are no fresh injury troubles from the weekend’s victory over Southampton, meaning a decision needs to be made – whether or not to sacrifice Ramsey and shift the Welshman out wide to accommodate the combative Flamini alongside the seemingly un-droppable Arteta.
Elsewhere the side should largely remain unchanged from the weekend, the defence will be as usual with Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny and Gibbs sitting in front of Szczesny. Cazorla and Wilshere are likely to operate on the wings again with Ozil central but marauding from side to side. Walcott is back but is certainly rusty after two months out, he looks more likely for a start against Cardiff this weekend but should get at least half an hour on Tuesday night.
Here is allArsenal’s predicted (/hopeful) lineup, for me it’s either Arteta or Flamini not both.
Sagna Koscielny Mertesacker Gibbs
Arteta (c) Ramsey
