The Frenchman has only 18 months remaining on his contract and according to reports negotiations over a contract extension have stalled with Arsenal only prepared to offer a one year extension to the 29 year-old.
Recent interviews with the Frenchman have hinted that he may be open to a move away from the Emirates, but the Frenchman has now come out and said he is 100% devoted to the club.
Sagna is quoted as saying by ESPN Soccernet:
I’m 100% devoted to my club. I’m only thinking about defending Arsenal’s colours until the end of my contract,” Sagna, who is in talks with Arsenal over extending his current deal beyond 2014, said.
“The supporters are annoyed with me when they hear my name linked to PSG, but I haven’t got anything to do with that. I’ve had no contact whatsoever.
I find it odd that some Gooners are willing to let the Frenchman leave after his dip in form of late. Yes, has not yet gotten back to his best after returning from injury, but his performance against Stoke shows that he is beginning to look like his old self.
Sagna has been one of the few loyal servants to Arsenal when he was regarded at the top of his game and the best right-back in the Premier League. He deserves more time to prove himself and get back to how he used to be. Every player suffers some kind of form dip at some stage.

While Jenkinson is improving at an impressive rate, I have no doubt that Sagna has helped him out with his experience and competition. If Sagna were to leave I feel Jenkinson would still need an experienced right-back to mentor him and provide competition.
On a more positive note, it is great to see that the Frenchman has received the call-up back into the French national team after having such a long absence with injury.
Sagna is quoted as saying by ESPN Soccernet on the call-up:
I couldn’t speak I was so emotional. In my head, I was thinking back to a year ago, and the games against Tottenham and then Norwich. I went over everything that had happened and said to myself: ‘Finally some good news’.
When I arrived at Clairefontaine, I took pictures of the bed, of my kit. I need souvenirs of my comeback. When I received my packet of kit, I opened it straightaway and looked at the new stuff. It’s nice too.
