The Gunners have virtually a full squad to choose from this weekend with Andre Santos and Abou Diaby returning to action in the U21 match on Wednesday unscathed, however Olivier Giroud remains a doubt after his gash from the Swansea match.
Arsene Wenger’s side are set to face Premier League champions Manchester City this weekend at the Emirates, the first of a series of tough fixtures over the next few weeks, and the return of Diaby couldn’t be more timely with rotation on the cards next week.
But for the time being the side will hardly change from the recent usual lineup with Theo Walcott almost definitely starting up front, and Diaby eased back into the mix after a three month absence.
Arsene Wenger revealed the following team news:
[on the latest updates] Everyone is fit from last weekend apart from Olivier Giroud. He has not been practising because of the cut on the knee he got at Swansea. We’ll have
a final test on Saturday to see if he is involved against Man City. It is a 50:50. We’ll see.

[on Santos and Diaby] I want to see how they react to the under-21 game they played in midweek. But we have so many games coming up now, it is good they are back.
[on Fabianski] He is not far away [from full training] now, two or three weeks.
