Arsenal travel to Anfield on Sunday for another Premier League clash with Liverpool and there have been some classics down the years.
Historically, Liverpool have been the opponents for some great Arsenal moments. From Anfield in ’89 to Henry’s hat-trick at Highbury, The Reds have been sick of the sight of the Gunners at times.
Moments like that have been slightly less common in recent years but one thing which hasn’t gone away is the sheer volume of goals in the matches between the two sides.
Research by bettingexpert shows that we are on course for an absolute goal fest on Sunday if recent seasons are anything to go by.
Everyone remembers the 4-4 Arshavin game back in 2009 but there have been some other classics in that time.

Liverpool’s 5-1 victory over the Gunners in 2014 was a sore one for Arsenal fans and the 3-3 draw two seasons later wasn’t much better.
There have been an incredible 20 goals between the two sides in the last four Premier League matches at Anfield and if this season is anything to go by then Sunday’s match won’t be much different. The Gunners were involved in a seven goal thriller on the opening day of this season and with both sides missing players defensively, don’t bet on a 0-0 draw at the weekend.
