United have paid a whopping £12m up front to the French side and will be paying the 28-year-old’s £200,000-a-week wages.
Absolute ludicrous money for a loan move, Arsene Wenger would never have done such a deal anyway. Seems a strange one for United who already have Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie up front. But the deal means the Gunners miss out on one of their most linked-with players ahead of tonight’s 11pm transfer deadline.
