We have looked dominant in our second pre-season clash, with Santi Cazorla and Mesut Özil adding to Theo Walcott’s first half strike to give us a comfortable 3-0 lead over Everton.
It’s been a dominant performance right from the off, and we’ve always looked in the ascendancy. The first goal seemed only a matter of time, and the flood gates opened once we got going.
Santi Cazorla showed some neat footwork for our second, his ambidexterity leaving the Everton defenders practically paralysed. A couple of dummies fooled his marker, before the Spaniard slotted it neatly into the bottom corner. 2-0.
Moments later we were in again, with Everton failing to recover from the initial blow. Özil was played through with a simple ball, and slid it past Joel Robles to make it 3-0.

It’s only a pre-season game, and is therefore more about fitness than anything else. It’s excellent that we’ve looked so dominant however, and is hopefully a sign of things to come.
