We’ve recently been linked with a £21.5m move for PSG’s Lucas Moura (via the Metro), with the 23-year-old reportedly a top target of ours.
The Brazilian is seemingly keen on a move to the Premier League too, although he does suggest that he may wait a while before making the switch, according to SporTV (via talkSPORT).
“It is clear that the Premier League is very strong,” he told SporTV.
“If an opportunity comes later and I no longer have the desire to play here, I would take the decision and I would play for another club.
“I’m happy to generate interest from major European clubs, if the interest exists it shows that people trust me and would count on me.”
Moura has been an erratic performer for PSG since his move there in 2013, and has been in and out of the team ever since his arrival. He’s been featuring regularly this season though, scoring six goals in 22 appearances.

The report suggests PSG may be looking to cash in on Moura soon to fund a big money move for a marquee player, but Arsene Wenger may have to wait until the summer to get his man.
Moura arguably isn’t what we need, and he’s certainly more of a luxury player. His pace would be a real boost, but considering the amount we’d need to spend on him we could arguably invest the money far better.
His inconsistency is a real worry, and his finishing leaves a lot to be desired. His crossing is a real strong point – which would obviously benefit Olivier Giroud – but that’s not enough of a reason to sign him.
Arsenal transfer news
It’s hard to see this transfer rumour coming true, but we’ll just have to wait and see whether the interest is really there.
