Aaron Ramsey says Arsenal’s strong team bond is the reason for their turnaround in form in 2015.
Having won 13 of their last 15 matches, the side have propelled themselves firmly into a race for second place – possibly even the Premier League title if results go their way – whilst reaching the FA Cup semi-final for a second straight year.
“We have a good group here, everyone gets on and we are quite positive no matter what happens during the season,” he told Arsenal.com
“I think the consistency has been really good [recently]. That’s one thing we probably suffered with in the first half of the season – winning games and then slipping up. We seem to have dealt with that and hopefully we can just continue that now.
“We have all stuck by each other, but when you’re on a good run it is nice and everyone is happy. If you come in after a loss it is quite down and low, but when you are on a winning run everyone is happy and can’t wait for the next game.”
Ramsey also opened up on his recent struggles with injuries with the Welsh wizard suffering three hamstring issues already this season.

However, he now feels he may be finally over his troubles and, after scoring two goals in his last two, feels he can add another element to the Arsenal side in the last quarter of the season.
“It’s good – I’m happy,” he said. “I have been disappointed with the number of injuries I’ve had this year – it is always difficult when you are in a stop-start scenario, but I’m feeling good and hopefully I can stay injury-free for the rest of the season.”
The midfielder is likely to be recalled against Newcastle United this week after starting against AS Monaco on the bench.
The Gunners will look to continue their scintillating form with a win at St James’ Park and possibly overtake Manchester City on Saturday.
