Aaron Ramsey has said he is looking forward to Arsenal’s FA Cup quarter-final clash with Lincoln City as he returns to training. The Welshman has been out since limping off in a match with Watford at the start of February (via The Daily Star).
Amid his injury problems and the question marks over the futures of some of the club’s big names, Aaron Ramsey has been a fringe figure at Arsenal this season. After stealing the show for Wales in the summer, it was thought that this would be a turning point in his career at the club.
That hasn’t happened yet after a constant stream of injuries has kept Ramsey on the sidelines. His latest spell in the physio room stemmed from the 2-1 home defeat to Watford at the start of what was a terrible month for the Gunners. Now, the Welshman is back in training and has his sights on the FA Cup, hoping that March is a lot better.
“I absolutely love this competition,” Ramsey admitted to Talk Sport. The Gunners will come up against fifth tier side Lincoln City on 11 March.
“That’s the romance of the FA Cup,” Ramsey went on.

“I’ve had some good success in it and hopefully I can do that again this year and be lifting that trophy at the end again.
“It will be an incredible day for Lincoln and for us as well and we’re looking forward to it.”
Ramsey will be hoping to play some part in the match after returning to training today. Hopefully, Ramsey will get back to the sort of form we’ve seen in the past and fire Arsenal to success in the competition.
