AC Milan are planning to offer Arsenal £45m for Alexis Sanchez and plan to hand the Chilean a three-year deal worth £250,000-per-week, according to The Express.
The Serie A side have been encouraged they could land Sanchez as he is still yet to agree a new contract at the Emirates with negotiations set to continue.
Vincenzo Montella’s side are willing to offer Sanchez the wages he has reportedly demanded in an attempt to bring him to San Siro and are ready to do business when the window reopens this summer.
The 28-year-old’s refusal to so far sign a contract has led to huge speculation over his future with a host of clubs having been linked with a move.
Juventus, PSG and Atletico Madrid are regularly rumoured to be ready to spend big on Sanchez while some tabloids have also claimed interest from Chelsea and Manchester City.
Milan seems a particularly unlikely destination for Sanchez, the club have dropped to eighth in Serie A and look unlikely to be able to offer Champions League football next season.

While Sanchez will only have a year left on his contract by the summer, it would also be a surprise if Arsenal were willing to accept £45m for a players who has proven to be one of the very best in the Premier League since joining from Barcelona.
Sanchez scored twice on Saturday as Arsenal recovered from two straight Premier League defeats to Watford and Chelsea with a 2-0 win over Hull City.
The Chilean’s goals means he now currently tops the Premier League goalscoring charts and highlighted once again how utterly vital he is to the club’s chances of success.
