The agent of Lukas Podolski has revealed the striker is likely to return to Arsenal from his short-term loan deal at Inter Milan in the summer.

Given the pomp and ceremony of his exit and the gushing tribute he left to the club on Instagram you could be forgiven for thinking Podolski was more ‘Goner’ than ‘Gooner’, and his move to the Serie A was a permanent one.
However, his agent, Ali Petkas, has now told Turkish media, via Calciomercarto, that he may yet return to the Emirates as his contract does not expire until 2016.
Petkas was also asked whether he would be moving to Turkey at any point, to which he replied it was unclear if it would happen in 2016 but there is a possibility.

Podolski representative also confirmed that the German World Cup winner received an offer from a Turkish club that never progressed to something firmer but did not provide a name.
“He is currently in Milan on loan and in the summer he could return to Arsenal, whom he has a contract with until summer 2016. Last summer it was a possibility [moving to Turkey], but for next year I do not know. It may only be a possibility,” said Ali Petkas.
