The agent of Arsenal forgotten man Lucas Perez has insisted that his client is determined to remain at the club (via The Laziali).
Arsene Wenger’s exit from the club and the beginning of the Unai Emery era has provided many Arsenal players with something of a fresh start.
Many Gunners players will be looking to turn over a new leaf after a couple of stagnant seasons but perhaps none more so than Lucas Perez.
The former Deportivo striker spent last season back on loan at his former side after seemingly falling out of favour with manager Arsene Wenger.
Perez has returned to pre-season training at Arsenal and now, the player’s agent has responded to reports linking him with a move to Lazio.
“It’s nothing believable, they invent things,” claimed Lucas Perez’ agency, Protio Sport in an interview with TheLaziali.com.

“Lazio is a great team, but Arsenal are also. Lucas is in Singapore with his team preparing for a new season that we wish would be a great season.
“Lucas wants to triumph at Arsenal, he signed there with that intention.”
It’s good that Lucas Perez is eager to remain at Arsenal. He showed glimpses of true quality during his first season at the club and, hopefully, will find some of that form again.
