Young Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain can’t wait to make his return to action, and was devastated to have missed our clash with Chelsea this past weekend.
The Ox has been sidelined since early march, with the England international suffering a hamstring injury during our 2-1 FA Cup victory over Manchester United.
He then went on to suffer a groin injury as a result of the initial problem, which is now set to keep him out for an undetermined length of time.
Chamberlain was watching our 0-0 draw with Chelsea from the stands on Sunday, and took to social media to express how disappointed he was.

He would have been a fantastic option to have from the bench, as Aaron Ramsey didn’t really offer enough width on the right. Chelsea were sitting deep with the entire team behind the ball, and we badly needed someone to stretch the play.
It’s unclear whether Chamberlain will return before the end of the season, but we could certainly use him heading into the final games of the campaign.
