Alexis Sanchez has been superb in his debut season, and has looked perfectly suited to the Premier League since his arrival from Barcelona. He is confident that he is in the right team to win trophies as well, and believes we already have the players to do so.
The Chilean was scoring for fun at the start of the season, and was a massive part of us remaining competitive in the early goings.
He suffered a bit of a dip after Christmas, which is understandable for a player who is growing accustomed to a new league. He has put his mini goal drought behind him however, and has netted some really important goals in recent games.
We may have to manage him more carefully next season, as he is clearly desperate for silverware.
“I’m a happy man who chats to everyone,” he said (via the Daily Star)

“My aim is to improve in every training session.
“I love to play with the ball so much that sometimes they ask me to relax and leave the ball a bit!
“I want to win titles for Arsenal.
“We have the right team and the right players to do it.
“We have everything to collect silverware.”
He may get his wish this season, with his goals helping us into the FA Cup final on the 30th May. We should be more than capable of beating Aston Villa, despite the Birmingham based club looking rejuvenated under Tim Sherwood.
The 26-year-old will no doubt have aspirations above and beyond the FA Cup though, with the Premier League and Champions League titles sure to be his main targets.
We have improved drastically in recent seasons, and look to be entering a new era – an era hopefully full of trophies and titles.
